In Toronto you can enjoy a mild, semi continental weather with warm summers and cold winters. Toronto’s continental climate is caused by Lake Ontario and it is the mildest climate east of the Rocky Mountains.
Summer:
If you want to visit Toronto in the summer months (June to September) you can enjoy temperatures between 25°C and 35°C. A
typical summer day in Toronto can change completely from a day with a blue sky to a day with thunderstorm and lightening but you can enjoy the view and the cn tower lightening. It is a wonderful climate to do outdoor activities around the
town.
Fall:
If you want to visit Toronto in the autumn months (October and November) you can enjoy a fantastic weather with warm
temperatures and just a little rain. During the fall you can see the leaves start to turn their colours. When you have time and want to see the wonderful and dramatic leaf colours you have to drive north of Toronto. The November is rainy and cold month in Toronto.
Winter:
If you want to visit Toronto in the winter months (December to February) you can enjoy a snowy but cold winter. You can have temperatures between -22°C and +16°C and the average temperature in January is -1.3°C. There are usually some snow storms and cold snaps, but you don’t have to worry, because you will find a nice café or restaurant or a shopping mall where you can
enjoy the day. But you can also have mild days in January or February.
Spring:
If you want to visit Toronto during spring (March to May) you can enjoy a comfortable weather with just wearing a light jacket. In this season the weather changes often from day to day. Some springs even have flurries in May, but the average temperature is around 12°C. The blossoms in Toronto’s parks bloom during spring and all people are going out after the long winter
